GO! Papageno primary school launches new website with easy management
We spoke with Kenny and Bénédicte from GO! Papageno Primary School about their new school website on the Paddle CMS platform
You switched to a new CMS. What are the biggest differences?
Initially, it was a bit of a learning curve, and everything was new. In the previous Kanooh CMS, which was used for the website, it was harder to upload photos and videos. With the new Paddle CMS, you can quickly place photos or videos into a block and move the block around. You can design a page in multiple ways.
The graphic design has also changed, and the website now looks much calmer. The homepage is more visually appealing with large navigation blocks featuring key tasks, making it easier for visitors to find what they're looking for.
Editing pages is simpler now, with fewer intermediate steps compared to the previous CMS. This makes the website more user-friendly for both our school operations and visitors. There's also improved linking to our school group and Smartschool.
We could always rely on the project manager and are satisfied with the personal guidance through all channels.

How did your school choose the graphic design?
Our school group chose from the various design options available within the central GO! theme on the Paddle CMS, which follows the GO! house style. There are quite a few options. We considered the relevant information that needed to be on the website, such as for registrations and communication with parents.
Are you satisfied with the personal guidance?
To build the new website, we received a manual from the project manager. The manual was clear and straightforward.
We are very pleased with the personal support through all channels. We could always count on the project manager. Additionally, there is a helpdesk available for further assistance.
Do you have any tips for schools in need of a new website?
Carefully consider your design choices, as they are crucial. We started by listing topics important to all types of visitors.
Also, create a navigation structure with a logical layout. Furthermore, we will refer to the websites of other schools within our group and to Smartschool.
