Intercommunale Durme-Moervaart (IDM) E-desk
Custom E-desk
For IDM, we developed a separate e-desk where citizens' inquiries are handled through a well-designed workflow.
From the citizen's perspective, this means creating an account, selecting from many forms, and submitting a request. The citizen can then track the status and communicate with IDM. All history and related communication are stored in the citizen's personal portal. For requests requiring a national register number, we link the forms to an eID module, allowing the citizen to log in with eID or Itsme.
Secure and centralized submission management
For IDM, we added the ability to assign a submission to an IDM employee and provide a status for the request to our extensive web forms. The different statuses (new, in progress, forwarded to a colleague, etc.) can be freely defined by IDM. For each step in the request, it can be decided whether or not to send an email to notify the citizen or an IDM employee of a change or a new message in the e-desk. The e-desk is thus an extension of our web forms module that allows you to securely and centrally manage the follow-up and communication of submissions.
Integrated into the new website
The e-desk has been seamlessly integrated into the brand-new website, built on the Paddle CMS Platform in Drupal 9.
