Municipality of Gooik

The Challenge 

The website of the municipality of Gooik urgently needed an update. They aimed to refocus the website more towards their target audience instead of the old organization-centric approach.

Our Solution 

During the kick-off meeting, the key points for the project were established. Unfortunately, there were no Google Analytics figures available, limiting the analysis to input from the project team and user surveys.

Combining this input with our experience, we designed a navigation structure. This structure was further refined and aligned with all departments.

We also handled the design based on the client's preferences. Several different versions were presented to the municipal council, and based on their feedback, we continued refining until the design was approved.

Next, new pages were written by the  editors, and various pages were migrated by us.

We provided training sessions in Writing for the Web, Basic CMS, CMS Web Forms, and CMS Administration.

Thanks to weekly follow-up meetings, we kept a close eye on things to ensure the website could be a success!
