Renewal
The Interwaas website was in need of renewal. Both the layout and the content needed a refresh. The old system was not user-friendly, which meant that Interwaas employees could not make changes themselves. There was also a need for a number of subsites for Waasland Klimaatland and WoonWijzer Waasland, which are part of Interwaas but work with a separate URL for the communication service.
Our personal approach
After the preliminary investigation, Interwaas' needs became clear. Based on this, we were able to quickly come up with a good structure. This was refined in 2 briefing sessions.
With the new structure and the wishes of Interwaas in hand, our designer went to work. A first version of the design was quickly approved. Then we went to work on the design for Waasland Klimaatland: different, but still in the style of Interwaas.
We soon started the Writing for the Web course, so that the editors could prepare new pages. These pages were then proofread by Interwaas' communications manager.
After setting up the new website and integrating the design and structure, it was time to start entering the content. A tight deadline meant that Interwaas could also count on our help with this. The employees could contact the central project leader if they had any questions.
A few weeks later, the time had come: the new website was ready. With respect for the tight deadline and with an eye on a quality new website.
