Coordination Structure of Patrimonium Information (CSPI)
In Brief
The new bilingual website of the government institution CSPI simplifies the handling of administrative queries and strengthens the CSPI brand through a well-thought-out navigation structure and design.
The Challenge
The Coordination Structure of Patrimonium Information, abbreviated as CSPI, assists government services from the 3 regions and the federal government with the management and exchange of heritage information. CSPI felt that their website lacked proper structure and was unable to effectively convey the CSPI identity externally. However, pinpointing the exact issues was challenging for them.
Our Solution
We began by conducting several sessions to thoroughly understand CSPI's operations. With this insight, we developed a concept that was validated through user surveys.
The new site divides its visitors into two groups: newcomers and returning visitors. Those familiar with CSPI can directly access the section to submit an application. Newcomers can learn about CSPI and the various steps in the process.
For the design, we opted for large action buttons to swiftly guide visitors to the task they wish to undertake with CSPI. To dispel any misconception that CSPI solely focuses on information about old buildings, we chose clean lines and images of modern construction and architecture.
