Intermunicipal Durme-Moervaart (IDM)
In short
- Brand new website in the new CMS Platform in Drupal 9
- Integration corporate identity
- E-counter: custom development
- Sorting guide and street plan module
- Training and support by a central project leader
User-friendliness and structure
The IDM website was in need of renewal. The user-friendliness was central and the structure had to be revised. The web design was based on the corporate identity designed by us and is the common thread throughout the visual character of the site. For example, the primary colours are reflected in the icons.
Card sort sessions were organised to build up the structure. On this basis, a good structure was created with a view to the website analysis and the visitor.
The employees enjoy personal support and training before, during and after going live. For instance, there was the 'writing for the web*' training and the CMS training to familiarise all employees. There was also support for the introduction of new content and the creation of pages.
(*) also includes accessible writing in accordance with the WCAG standards.
Sorting guide and street plan
Due to the central development of the CMS Platform, IDM could immediately start working with the modules after configuration.
For the waste intermunicipalities, the sorting guide is very important. With the module, you can list waste materials and, based on the waste fraction, easily indicate where the visitor can go with it. Additional comments and synonyms can also be added, allowing the visitor to quickly find the desired information.
In addition to various modules, we would like to highlight the street plan module below.
This makes it possible to indicate different points on a search area chosen by the editor.
